OUTSMARTING CANCER

We are thrilled to share this video in collaboration with #IamBio.
Dr. Erick Gamelin has dedicated his life to treating cancer patients. Our family, like so many others, has greatly suffered from cancer as well.

He started OncoXome, an oncology startup, so that he could develop an innovative and promising cancer treatment, one that he spent a decade working on. One that would be efficient while respecting the patients' quality of life.

OncoXome has been accepted by Music Beats Cancer, a crowdfunding platform that strategically partners with renowned musicians to bring awareness and fund cancer-fighting innovations like Erick's.
Please consider making a donation, no matter the amount, to help OncoXome reach its next scientific milestone:

REVOLUTIONIZING THE CONCEPT OF CANCER

OncoXome defines cancer as a complex ecosystem in which cancer cells communicate, interact, support each other, exchange information, messages of alert and resistance capabilities. Because of this elaborate communication network, cancer cells adapt to new conditions and aggressions, acquiring resistance to treatments.

HOW DO CANCER CELLS COMMUNICATE?

Via EXOSOMES, extracellular vesicles that are released from cells and can travel to distant tumors to deliver their payload/messages. Their messages can be RNA, proteins, oncogenes, etc.
